Because it's entirely safe to hand out your address to people who have tried to kill you before, probably.

After thinking about it for a grand total of .5 seconds, that's what Ren does.

But then he keeps talking, so Akechi can pretend it didn't happen if he prefers. ]

So arrivals come in batches... And how often would you say that happens? Is there a set schedule or pattern to it?

The tail end of every month. Arrivals tend to be spread out over several days to a week at that time.

In that case, it might be worth keeping an eye out around that time. If there's any sort of entranceway that gives access to the island, then therein must lie the way out, too.

Well, all I can say is that I don't feel careless to be doing what I want to.

Painfully so, I'd say.

[ In... more ways than one, really. And he honestly doesn't think Ren knows the meaning of shame, at this point.

Still, this could come in handy. And if Ren himself doesn't have the fortitude to take a step back and instead keeps relying on borrowed time, well, it's not on Akechi to care about his emotional well-being. Especially not when he can barely handle his own. ]

I guess I'll keep it in mind.
