Still, this could come in handy. And if Ren himself doesn't have the fortitude to take a step back and instead keeps relying on borrowed time, well, it's not on Akechi to care about his emotional well-being. Especially not when he can barely handle his own. ]

No, that part was a genuine offer I'd have made to any of our friends. Food sometimes comes with strings attached here, and I don't really like that.
